POPES TIMBOON IS A FOURTH GENERATION FAMILY-OWNED BUS SERVICE.
Established in the 1940s with just one vehicle, the service has grown into what is today a major operation with a fleet of thirty vehicles. It is the direct result of the hardy business nous passed down through four generations of ingenuity and initiative.

Our business has, and continues to, contribute to state committees and boards that inform the bus industry of regulation and legislation. Industry representation has included the position of State President of the Bus Association Victoria (now BusVic); and regional board and committee delegation. Suffice to say, our service is firmly positioned at the forefront of industry standards.

Whilst our business is relatively small, it is not without its advantages. An open door policy has existed from inception: the connection from Managing Director to Apprentice is daily and frequent – a flat structure that retains the strong family values that the business was founded on.
